So who are the faces behind the scenes?

Philip Curtis

Philip put the blueprint together for Fair Care at the tail end of 2004, having seen an opportunity to create a service orientated, innovative business to challenge the more traditional providers. The initial focus was on the salary sacrifice market but with the intention to quickly diversify into the wider spectrum of employee benefits. Twelve years later, and with over 1,100 clients, the opportunity has become reality.

Philip has a wider brief as Chief Executive of Fair Care's parent company, Avantus Business Solutions.  Amongst other achievements, Philip completed the acquisition of Avantus Systems (fintech software) in 2013 and set up People Care Human Resources (HR consultancy and technology) in 2014.

Prior to setting up Fair Care, Philip spent 8 years as a director in merchant banking group Close Brothers. Philip is qualified as an accountant (FCCA) and an IFA (DipPFS), but is better known for his creative flair, and his ability to make ideas happen.
